At Berean Church our kids (4 to 12 years of age) learn about Jesus in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Our mission is Proverbs 22:6: "To train up a child in the way he should go. And when he is old he will not depart from it." Our children learn the word of God by reading, worship, puppet skits, drama, games, and so much more.
We hope to engage children to see their potential in Christ, knowing how much they are loved and treasured through the Word of God.
First Visit: How Check-in Works
As you, a parent or guardian, enter the main doors down the sidewalk to the left of the sanctuary, a Powerhouse check-in attendant will register your child to the appropriate classroom. This team member will ask pertinent questions about your child (such as those related to allergies, health concerns etc). After the check-in process a sticker will be applied to the child's' shirt and you, the parent or guardian, will receive the other half of the sticker, with a barcode on each. This keeps your child safe, as only the person with the correct barcode can pick up the child. We will not release the child to someone else. After this brief check-in process the child will be walked to the appropriate classroom where they will learn and have fun!
Berean Church offers childcare during service for infants. But we also have an Overflow Room that can be used by mothers and fathers with infants. This room is available for anyone who opts not to sit in the Main Sanctuary, including parents with infants who want to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment.
